Mid to high range. Due to local raw materials and unique manufacturing techniques, variations in body and color from tile to tile are to be expected. This is considered desirable and part of the inherent beauty of our product.

Zuma should be dry-laid prior to installation to inspect for color, shading, and size variance. Material should be combined from each case to ensure optimal blending of shade variations. Always smooth out mastic, allow at least a 3mm grout joint and use unsanded grout. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using setting materials and sealers.

All tumbled marble, slate and travertine should be sealed prior to grouting. A premium natural look penetrating/impregnating sealer is the normal choice for travertine. A stone enhancer sealer is often used on tumbled marble, antique stone or slate where a darker or highlighted character is desired. When choosing either one of these types of sealers, make sure to select a brand that ensures maximum protection for stone products. Sealing the glass is not necessary.

Zuma tile should be cleaned using soap and water or a non-abrasive, non-corrosive cleaner applied with a sponge.
